Meet the Critter Cabana Crew

Brittani is the hot momma who is currently overseeing our Wilsonville store. Along with Matt and Scott she is the owner and pioneer of Critter Cabana. She is an expert in all things mammalian, so look for her if you have questions about our furry friends. Her pets include Bart the Lovebird, Charles the Boxer, Fiona the Minpin, and Raisin the Cat. King of the office, Matt is always behind the scenes thinking of something genius to keep Critter Cabana happy and healthy just like its animals. He keeps his wife Brittani and brother Scott from doing anything too crazy, and aside from that, overseas all things adminstrative at the Cabana. You will also find him cruising the store making sure everyone is recieving the best service possible. He shares pets with Brittani. Read My Blog.

Scottie. Currently the man-handling the Newberg store while Brittani and Matt are in Wilsonville. If you have fish or reptiles and you live in Newberg you probably recognize this wiley character. He tends to anything with scales or a slime coat. Scott isn't afraid to tell you how it is, a much needed trait in the pet industry. You can count on Scott to set the record straight when it comes to modern husbandry tecniques. Scott's dynamic presence at Critter Cabana is surely the reason so many people keep coming back. Scott's pets include Tarby Boulderboom the Samoyed, Gollum & Hayworth the white cats, Sephiroth the Panther Chameleon, a 54 gallon African Cichlid Tank, and a 180 gallon turtle/fish tank. .Read My Blog.
Renee has been working in Newberg since she moved up with her husband Greg from Eugene last year. It didn't take us long to realize how great she was and recruited her as a store manager. Renee is quickly expanding her knowledge of pet nutrition, and is a sound source of advice for dogs, cats, small animals, and birds. Renees pets include Slightly and Cada the Minpins, Sugarfoot and MP the STO's (Short Tailed Opposums), and an 30 gallon peaceful community aquarium. She is also the dedicated baby Kinkajou caretaker - you can pretty much always expect to find a baby honeybear at her side.

Heather
At first glance, this might look like the crazy animal lady you've seen at Critter Cabana, well it is. She goes by the name Heather, and this mother of ...many children, makes the trip from North Plains to Newberg 5 times a week or more because thats how much she loves animals. And that makes us love her, and that makes you love her... its a circle of love, all revolving around Heather the crazy animal lady, who woulda thought. Bottom line, she is a very important part of Critter Cabana and everyone is glad she's here. Her pets are quite literally too many to list here, and we all wonder if one day her house might eplode with feathers and fur.
This crazy kid is the latest addition to our stellar Cabana team. John is a a biology major at George Fox University, and chasing Heather down in a competition to accumulate the most pets. Unfortuantely for Heather, he does have the advantage given his 5 aquariums ranging in size from 5 to 75 gallons. He also sports the "bunny in the closet" (fairly common amongst college go-ers), a hot little parrotlet, and rack of reptiles housing a Rose Hair Tarantula, a Tangerine Honduran Milksnake, and some reptile-to-be that will all too soon put this page out of date (the cage is empty). He's a top notch guy, and well worth spending some time with as you do your regular shopping/oogling.. Jon
Taylor Flack
Newbergian bum turned productive member of the workforce. Taylor's love for animals and outgoing personality make him a great addition to the Newberg team.
Marie has a passion for, well, um everything just about, animals included! This mother of three mans our Wilsonville location during the week. She is a resourceful woman ready to serve. Her compassionate soul and get er done attitude makes us very comfortable leaving her in charge of the puppies. When things get busy, she always has her faithful sidekick Ruby the wonderdog to keep people entertained. If you run into Marie on your next visit expect to be taken care of like you were one of her best friends (and if you stick around long enough you just might end up one).
